• 1 ცალი ხახვი – 0.20 ლარი
• 1 ცალი სტაფილო – 0.12 ლარი
• 1 კონა ოხრახუში – 0.61 ლარი
• 1 ს/კ ზეითუნის ზეთი – 1 ბოთლი 4.65 ლარი
• 25 გრ. ნაღების კარაქი – 1 შეკვრა 2.30 ლარი
• 500 გრ. შერეული ფარში – 4.79 ლარი
• 100 გრ. ბეკონი – 1.56 ლარი [პანჩეტას ვინმე თუ იპოვის, მეც მასწავლეთ სადაა:)]
• 300 მლ. რძე - 1 კოლოფი 3.30 [ქართული არ იყო]
• 300 მლ. წითელი მშრალი ღვინო – 1 ბოთლი საფერავი 11.02 ლარი
• 2 ს/კ ტომატის პასტა – 1 ყუთი 1.5 ლარი
• 2×400 გრ. (800 გრ) მთლიანი დაკონსერვებული პომიდორები - 4 ლარი [თუმცა, დაკონსერვებულის მაგივრად შემეშალა და მარინადი ვიყიდე]
• 2 ჩ/კ მშრალი ბალახების ნარევი – 1 კოლოფი 7.20 ლარი

ასევე:

• გახეხილი პარმეზანი – 200 გრ. 14 ლარი
• სპაგეტი – 1 კოლოფი 2.10 ლარი

სულ [ა-ლა 'Grand Total']: 57 ლარი 50 თეთრი ‘გუდვილიდან’ გაუსვლელად

დღეს და ჰუმანოიდი (ერთხელ მკითხა – რატო ‘ჰუმანოიდი’ და არა – ‘ჰუმანოიდშა’-ო, რაზეც პასუხად მიიღო ‘რავი’, ეხლაც არ ვიცი) ვიყავით “ექსპო-ჯორჯიას” საგამოფენო სივრცეში, სადაც ჩემი თანამგზავრის ცნობით, ინდური პროდუქციის გამოფენა-გაყიდვა – “საუკეთესო ინდოეთიდან” გაიხსნა ერთი დღით ადრე [ანუ - გუშინ] :)

Ghost Towns

For over a half-century, the theme of ghost towns has been heavily exploited in almost all forms of media: from Yellow Sky directed by William A. Wellman in 1948 to 2002′s British post-apocalyptic science fiction film – 28 Days Later and from a popular survival horror video game – Silent Hill to The Road, the Pulitzer Prize winning novel by American writer Cormac McCarthy. Generally speaking, the rich image of completely abandoned cities has served as a perfect topic for dozens of films, books, video games, television shows and many other related mediums.

Despite the fact that the name of such kind of deserted towns contains a word ‘ghost’, there’s nothing surrealistic about ghost cities. On the contrary, these cities and towns are quite real, they do exist and moreover, they are freely accessible for anyone who has the will to visit them. However, it doesn’t mean it would be safe to do so considering the fact that when a whole city is abandoned, it already means that its citizens had some seriously weighty reasons to act like that…

Let’s begin with San Zhi. A now abandoned futuristic resort on the northern coast of Taiwan was built in the early 1980s for the rich but construction works at the vacation resort ceased after a series of fatal accidents. Because of lack of both money and willingness, work was stopped permanently and even though San Zhi never opened as a vacation resort, it can still be toured. The strange pod-like buildings are an awesome attraction for tourists as well as the urban legend that the ghosts of the workers who died during construction works are still haunting the city.

Into Everything

ფარცხისი 2009, გაზაფხული

ჩემი სკეპტიციზმით აღსავსე განწყობის მიუხედავად, ლოლას შემოთავაზება ფარცხისში წასვლასთან დაკავშირებით იმაზე რეალური გამოდგა, ვიდრე მე ამას გუშინ წარმოვიდგენდი:) ‘ოდა, ამაგდო დილის 9 საათზე და გავუდექით გზას:)) დანარჩენი, მეტ-ნაკლებად, სურათებში ჩანს:)

მიუხედავად იმისა, რომ ამ ვოიაჟის შესახებ არავის ვუთხარით, ყველაფერმა უმტივნეულოდ ჩაიარა და მეგობრების აგრესია არცერთს გვხვდა წილად:))

ან გვინდა, რომ გვჯეროდეს, რომ ასე იყო:))

Strangest Ever Museums

Despite endless discussions about the issue: what is appropriate for a museum to acquire, keep, research, publicize and finally – exhibit within its walls, the main role of museums in our everyday life, assigned to them centuries ago, remains intact. These unusual buildings in the very heart of almost every city in the world have always been at the service of society and enhanced its further development by offering to the ordinary people easily accessible means to learn things about their past, discover various specimens for boosting their inspiration or just spend time, touring museums.

Therefore, museums can be educational, informative, fascinating, and occasionally, very strange. Some of them are so strange that you might not want to read on if you are over-squeamish or you are having lunch at the moment. But having acknowledged the fact that mainstream society is so diverse, we must also presume that ‘strange’ is a relative term and what seems odd to one person, looks perfectly fine to another.

For instance, Dr. Bindeshwar Pathak, the founder of Sulabh International Museum of Toilets, that is located in New Delhi, India, tells us that the toilet is a part of the history of human hygiene, which deserves a special chapter in the development of world civilization. So, for the like-minded people who have always wondered how toilets must have looked like in 2500 BC and are willing to explore various pictures, facts, objects and even rare toilet-related poetry that tell the story of toilets from ancient times up to present day, this is an easy way to learn a lot about toilets.
